So it begins

The beginning of  something beautiful. Inspired by the vast landscape of the wild west, I have begun to lay the groundwork on a landscape painting. Can I capture the vastness on this square canvas?

A recording of the artist mind.

The past year has been all about change. One major change has been going from a part time artist to working on my ideas full time. I was excited to be able to finally get back  to devoting most of my time to art. After several months of feeling as if I had "artist block",  I have learned to clear away the old ideas. My hopes for the blog is to be a simple recording of my life as an artist full time. I'm going to let the artist speak. My hope is to see myself from a different perspective.
